Dame Jane Goodall said:
"What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make."
Lets begin by focusing on what we can we do in our every day lives to adjust to an eco-conscious lifestyle. Thinking about three main essentials;
- reduce,
- reuse,
- recycle
With that in mind our theme today is about ingredients. Every day our lives are packed with different things we either planned, or need to do, meals are just one of those. Let's say you want to make a quick meal that will 'fill a gap'. But while you do fill a gap what kind of waste does this simple meal create. Beans on toast for example, maybe cheese on toast, or scrambled egg on toast. Primary packaging including tins, bread wrappers, plastic containers, egg shells how do you dispose of them?
Today's society has become one that is "take-make-waste". We are all part of the problem, this article argues that you can make a difference, you have to decide what kind of difference you make. Being naturally sustainable is not a complex mountain to climb, in fact it is the total opposite.
If you build into your mindset the three essentials; reduce, reuse, recycle they can become tag lines, short cuts that as you go through the day, guide you to make a series of simple decisions. Here is the dividend!
Chances are you won't need to go to the supermarket as often, you could decide to give the local baker or your farm shop a try, you were meaning to anyway. Your waste bin is only half as full as it was, and now you are more eco-conscious, all of a sudden a whole new lifestyle beckons.

What we do
We are a research company, we monitor key statistics - in particular aviation and aerospace. We report on the rapid progress of electric commuter aircraft and on the more difficult long haul flights where SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuels) are helping to reverse emissions in our skies.
Sustainability is red hot news
As a research business we are very interested in how people react to the need to change lifestyles.
Our business is sustainable too, and it took small changes to adapt to a lower emissions profile. If you are interested you can view our C02 emissions profile here. The profile is part of our commitment to the SME Climate Hub, a global network fostered under the auspices of the United Nations.
